Most people will have microfiber or some type of water absorbing material underneath these dish drainers anyway, so all you need to do is throw away the bottom portion and keep the rack. Unfortunately, you either have to live with the silverware tray not draining water, or drill holes in the bottom and pray it doesn't completely crack.
